Hello !

Who can help me with any information and any pictures of Miles M-14 Magister trainer aircrafts, which (probably) were used by RNoAF ?

The worldairforces.com site reported about two Maggies, which RNoAF operated in 1941-42 (I think, these were used by some Norwegian units in RAF).

And else - maybe, some Magisters were in civil use in Norway ?

Best wishes,

Eduard.

Hei,

There have not been any cvilian Miles Magisters in Norway and my lists do not have any Magisters belonging to Norwegian AF units during the war.

It is very likely that Norwegian pilots flew in Magisters belonging to RAF units.

According to Cato Guhnfeldt's "Spitfire Saga", Magisters were used as liaison aircraft by the Norwegian fighter squadrons in the RAF (331 & 332). There is no information on type, serial numbers, registration etc. though.

OK, mr Nils !

It is clear, that Magister is not SO FAMOUS aircraft, as Spitfire, P-51 or Bf-109. And no wonder, that information about these airplanes is minor, than about "Great planes".

I think, this thread is over (at present days, at least...).

Thank to all.

Regards,

Eduard.
