Einar Sandvik Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Try Humbrol H 117 or Xtracolor 116. Einar Quote
Jens Håkon Brandal Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Hi Harry, You may want to change your username to your full name rather than hiding behind an alias - forum rules you know... Anyway, there is no out of the tin match that I know of for the olive green colour. It's a rather warm and green olive, and is close to FS24098. Even though it should be close to 24097 which is a colour that is matched for the Vietnam pattern, it isn't doesn't capture the right impression. A far better idea is to mix approximately 50-50 of Xtracolor NATO Green and RLM Yellow (this being a deep and warm yellow). This is a good base colour on which to do further painting, depending on the period you want to protray it. Towards the end, they were rather shabby looking with lots of spotpainting here and there, and that was done in just about any shade of dark green. Jens Quote
