    Jeg tenkte å kaste min gamle lakkboks, men hvis noen vil ha den så kan jeg ta med den på neste møte..Den mangler tak og vifte...Men med ei sponplate og kjøkkenvifte så har du en grei boks å lakke i....Lysarmatur er montert....

    Satt bare å måpte under den første overflyginga.Når de kom for andre gang tok jeg bilde med mobilen...Men det er ikke noe å se...Bildet ble desverre helt elendig..

    BOLD AVENGER 07/TRIAL QUEST

     

    NATO's biggest LIVE fly exercise in 2007, Bold Avenger 07/Trial Quest (BAR 07/TQ), is now history and we're about to make the final arrangements for Arctic Tiger 07.

     

    BAR 07/TQ proved successful even though the almighty Clerk of the Weather gave us some really heavy challenges most of the time. (We've just sacked our Chaplain for not being able to deal with this easy matter...)

    Spotters' Day - Friday 28 September

     

    Due to the preparations for the Open Day arrangement on Saturday 29 September only one wave will be flown this Friday. In order to gain a smooth and rapid in-processing please have a passport or equivalent ID easily avaliable. For those of you that bring a vehicle this must be parked outside the base main gate. There are some available parking  spots to the left of the main gate, off-base. No visitors will be allowed to bring personal vehicles on-base. Movement instructions from the main gate to Briefing hall "Valhall" will be given during the registration.

     

    No entrance fee will be charged for this event but you will have the opportunity to buy various Arctic Tiger souvenirs in briefing hall "Valhall" (Caps, T-Shirts, Stickers, Badges etc). Also bear in mind that we unfortunately do not have the opportunity to offer any refreshments or food on the spotter locations. We also strongly advice all individuals to bring warm and waterproof clothings as the weather can be very rough and cold. As we plan to position you quite near to the aircraft operating areas adequate ear protection/similar is also mandatory. During the initial briefings in "Valhall" please note the security guidelines that will be pointed out. After the briefings you will be divided in groups and each group will be appointed an individual Point of Contact (POC) for the endurance of the programme. Please pay attention to the POC for any specal instructions throughout the day.

     

    Tentative timeline as follows:

     

    * 0745 - 0855    Check in / registration in the main gate

    * 0900 - 1000    Various briefings in briefing hall "Valhall"

    * 1000 - 1020    Transport to the dedicated on-base spotter locations

    * 1100 - 1245    Flying wave

    * 1300 - END    END time to be decided - information will be given during the initial briefings

    * END                Transport to the main gate

     

    Open Day - Saturday 29 September

     

    Static display of Tiger Meet assets and other activities. The financial income this day will to a large extent be forwarded to an ideal organisation that helps children with cancer and so we encourage all visitors to contribute to this purpose. Opening hours will be from 1100 - 1600 local times. Transport regulations etc to be decided. No special invitation is required to attend this event. As for Friday 28 September, souvenirs etc will be available to buy. Refreshments, food etc will also be available this Saturday.

     

    This was an attempt to provide some more information regarding the upcoming events at Orland. Note that we by no means can guarantee that the weather (cross winds) worst-case will stop the only flying wave on Friday 28 September. As previously stated the weather so far this autumn has been the worst within the memory of man. Let's just cross our fingers and hope that this will not happen.

    Er du sikker på at slangene sitter riktig i koblingene? De skal bare presses inn i de(slik er det på min)...Har du hatt lekkasje helt siden den var ny ?

     

    Ta den med på neste møte, bare  sørg for at den står så går det greit å frakte....

     

    Jeg fikk lekkasje på min for ei stund tilbake, da var det rengjøring av trykksensor/regulator som skulle til...Kompressoren sto å gikk hele tida og jeg hørte tydelig luftlekkasje og fikk minimalt med luft ut av airbrushen....

     

    Ellers så har jeg ikke opplevd lekkasje fra hverken slanger eller vannutskiller..

    Husker jeg hadde en mp3 fil av motoren i en etterkrigs BRM engang. Den var vel bygd som en halvskala kopi av disse. Tror det var snakk om 1.5 liters v12 motor!! Synd jeg mista den filen i en hard disk krasj, gjorde seg meget bra på stor lydanlegg ja :thumb:

    Det finnes jo et hav av forskjellige airbrusher å velge i..Er det 2K(2 komponent) klarlakk du skal bruke,så må du ha ei sprøyte som har pakninger og O-ringer som tåler tynner..Billakk nevner du...Der har du jo også en del forskjellig både vannbasert(Autoair), vannbåren(PPG) og tynnerbasert(HOK), pluss en hel del andre typer og merker....

     

    Har ikke veldig mye erfaring med å lakke klarlakk med AB, så det er sikkert noen andre som kan supplere med info om det...Kjell Terje her har du en jobb....

     

    Jeg har Harder & Steenbeck Evolution og Infinity sprøyter...Har bare positive erfaringer med disse..De har også en som kalles Colani som er en litt større sprøyte som kan utstyres med stor dyse (1,2 mm)..

    Fikk forresten Infinity sprøyta i dag, har ikke rukket å teste den noe særlig...Men det lille jeg fikk gjort så svært lovende ut...Nå snakker vi tynne streker....

    Skal komme med en detaljert testrapport når jeg har det klart...

    HOK har vel skjønt at det er et marked for små flasker..Det er mange airbrush sjapper i USA som allerede har solgt små kvanta i lengre tid...Jeg prata med HOK Norge i forrige uke, og grunnen til at de ikke hadde fått noe til Norge enda var feil merking av flaskene.De regna med å få det inn i slutten av Mai...

    Eneste minuset med denne lakken er vel lukta...
